Slightly adapted version of 268D shepherds boot with a couple of modifications for tug of war purposes. The facings (where the laces fasten) are wider so they can be pulled tighter, and the heel stiffeners are double reinforced for extra strength. The uppers are made from reverse tanned waxed kip butt leather and the soles are triple thickness leather.They are supplied either with plain leather, flat nailed or treble hobbed soles. The heels are steel ring tip (horseshoe) style. Some people remove the ring tip and replace it with a flat plate. Alternative tug of war boots available click here
